Pietro Fragiacomo was a genre and landscape painter.
Fragiacomo was active exhibiting between 1882 and 1905. He showed at the Fine Art Society in London and with the International Society of Sculptors, Painters and Gravers, a society which elected JW its President in 1898.
In the late 1890s Fragiacomo was involved in the setting up of a society in Italy called 'Corporazione des Pittori e Sculsori Italiani' with the purpose of holding selected exhibitions abroad where Italian Art was up to this point poorly represented. JW and John Lavery, who was secretary of the ISSPG, were asked to join the group (#09999).
