Caroline Frances Purves of Marylebone, Australia married Louis Fagan, the curator, at St Mary Abbots, Kensington in 1887.
Life:
At her death in 1936 she left an estate of £1,803, which she wished to be used to set up a scholarship for engraving, etching or painting at the discretion of the National Museum at Naples or alternatively at the Royal Academy.
