Patrick S. Dunn, JP, CBE, was a Glasgow shipowner.
Life:
Dunn exhibited between 1880 and 1918 at the Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Water Colour. He was a lay member of Glasgow Art Club from 28 February 1887. He was among those Glasgow painters who in 1891 appended their names to a list requesting that the Corporation of Glasgow buy Arrangement in Grey and Black, No. 2: Portrait of Thomas Carlyle (YMSM 137) (#12326). He was the Honorary Secretary and later Chairman (from 1899-1903) of the Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts. He lived at 107 St Vincent Street, Glasgow.
