Coert was doctor to the Queen of Holland. He also attended JW when, on holiday with Charles Freer in Holland in 1902, he became seriously ill in the Hague. Rosalind Birnie Philip described JW as 'delighted with his doctor, who is 'the most distinguished physician of the land'' (#07751).
