Dr Thomas Buzzard was a specialist in venereal and nervous diseases.
Life:
In 1854 Buzzard became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons. On 1 January 1859 he registered as a medical doctor. He was on the British medical staff of the Ottoman army in the Crimean War and on the HQ staff of Omar Pasha in Transcaucasia. He was a member of The Arts Club from 1867 to 1919, and Chairman of the Committee in 1894. He was known to Lois Cassatt.
