Identity:
George Frederick Bodley was a leading ecclesiastical architect of the Gothic revival in England.
Life:
He was greatly influenced by Sir Gilbert Scott to whom he was articled as a young man. He was also was a designer of wall-papers and fabrics for the London firm of Watts & Co.
