Alexander Carlyle Bell was a landscape painter and watercolourist.
Life:
Bell was a member of the Arts Club from 1865-1896. He often painted Scottish subjects and exhibited his work at the Royal Academy and the New Watercolour Society. In 1881 he was unmarried and living at Freshwater, Hampshire, England.
