William Allport was a surveyor.
William Allport lived at 11 Park Street in London, and later, in 1896, at Bedford Mansions, Henrietta Street, Covent Garden. He was a member of the Society of Architects 1886-1896 and Fellow of the Surveyors Institute. He was the surveyor checking specifications for the developments in Tite Street by Edward William Godwin in 1882, including property eventually taken by Whistler.
