Christiaan Rudolph de Wet was a Boer general and rebel leader.

Life:

De Wet's name is inextricably woven into the epic struggle of Afrikaners for independence from British rule in South Africa. JW was pro-Boer and an admirer of de Wet's exploits during the Boer War, 1899-1902.
