Mme Saleron, known by JW as 'the Saleron', was a servant of JW's neighbour Mrs Morgan at 110 rue du Bac in Paris.

Life:

JW had a long-running dispute with Saleron concerning rugs being beaten over the garden. JW described her conduct as 'abominable' (#04683). A lawsuit ensued. She complained to the judge that JW had nude models posing in the garden (#09784). JW lost and was ordered to pay 25 francs in damages for the 'confiscation' of her rugs and for legal costs (#05110). JW considered libel action with a £1000 damages for her accusations regarding nude models (#04796).
