Dario de Regoyos y Valdes was a landscape painter.
Regoyos was a pupil of the landscape painter Carlos de Haes, as well as of Camille Pissarro and Claude Monet. He exhibited independently of the Salon from 1890. His work can be found in galleries in Barcelona, Bilbao, Brussels and Madrid.
Regoyos was a friend of JW, although in 1885 JW described himself as 'the most wretched of correspondants [sic]' (#09235). Both men exhibited in the 1880s with the Société des XX in Brussels.
