Sarah Frances Robertson was the daughter of William Robertson. She married George Ramsay, 12th Earl of Dalhousie (1806-1875) on 12 August 1845.

Life:

In 1887 the Countess exhibited Twilight in Rio Harbour (see #00799) at the Royal Society of British Artists, a society that had gained a royal charter in this year through the auspices of JW, its President from 1886 to 1888.
