John Henry Middleton was an architect.
Life:
In 1882 he exhibited a single work at the Royal Academy. In 1886 he was elected Slade Professor of Fine Art at Cambridge University. He was the Director of the Fitzwilliam Museum from 1889 to 1892 and Art Director of the South Kensington Museum from 1892 to 1896.
