Edward Thomas Holloway was a barrister.

Life:

Holloway was a barrister of the Middle Temple. In the 1880s his offices were located at 2 Garden Court, Temple, the same staircase as John Shiress Will, QC, MP. In 1895 he was registered as living at 2 Fountaine Road, Stoke Newington and 15 Markham Square S.W. In 1894 his offices were to be found at 5 Essex Court Temple.

In 1894 Holloway gave advice to JW's lawyers George and William Webb regarding whether George Du Maurier's Trilby could be considered libelous [(#06194).
