Mabel Percy Haskell was a writer on art.
Life:
At some point after 1880, Haskell wrote to JW from 16 Marlborough Street, Boston asking permission to write an article about him for an American magazine. She requested that he send her a photograph of himself and examples of his published writing [#10815].
A Mabel P. Haskell was recorded in Woodstock, Windham, CT in the 1880 census. She was the 13 year old daughter of Besture Haskell (a farmer) and Caledonia Haskell. This may have been the same person, but no further record has been found.
