Dr William Gilbert Grace was a celebrated cricketer and physician.
Life:
A great cricketer who is remembered to this day, Grace enjoyed a lengthy career from 1865-1900. He played for Gloucestershire, his home county and for England, his skills as a thrower, fast runner and bowler breaking almost every record in the game.
He is referred to in JW's correspondence about 1895 (#05042).
