Identity:
David Gauld was a Glasgow painter of cattle, landscape and portraits. He also worked in stained glass.
Life:
Gauld was a regular exhibitor at the Royal Scottish Academy, the Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts and the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool. He was elected to the Royal Scottish Academy in 1924.
