Identity:
Richard Fisher was a Fellow and Curator of the Society of Painter-Etchers from 1880-1890.
Life:
Fisher, who lived at Hill Top, Midhurst, was Treasurer of the Burlington Fine Arts Club and was mentioned in the proceedings of the club during the seasons 1858, 1859 and 1860. He was still on the club's committee in 1867 at the time of JW's expulsion, following his quarrel with his brother-in-law Francis Seymour Haden.
