Henry Arthur Fane was a neighbour of JW, who lived at 15 Tite Street.
In 1880 Fane lived at 1 Howick Place, Victoria Street. However, in the mid 1880s he moved to Tite Street. Harry Quilter lived at 13 Tite Street. In 1892 and 1900 Fane was registered as living at 33 Tite Street.
In 1887 Fane's name was included in a guest list by JW to the Royal Society of British Artists' winter exhibition (#13403). He was also among those names mentioned in preliminary invitation lists for JW's Criterion dinner to be held in May 1889, to celebrate JW having been made an honorary member of the Royal Academy in Munich (#05635).
