Fernand Dubois was a medallist, jeweller and worker in metal.

Life:

Dubois studied at the Académie Royale des Beaux Arts, Brussels under Charles van der Stappen. He exhibited with the Belgian exhibition society Les XX from 1883-93 and with the Libre Esthetique from 1893-1914. Dubois is mentioned in correspondence concerning JW and Les XX in 1886 (#05488). From 1894, he taught at the École Professionelle d'Art Applique, Brussels.
