Guglielmo Ciardi was a genre, landscape and marine painter.

Life:

Born in Venice, He is perhaps best known for his marine paintings. He exhibited in Nice, Berlin, Milan, Naples and Florence. Ciardi became a leading figure (with artists such as Ettore Tito (1859–1941) and Luigi Nono (1850–1918) in a revival of the Venetian school after Venice was reunified with Italy in 1866.
