Identity:
William Henry James Boot was a London based painter and illustrator of landscape subjects.
Life:
Boot painted in Derbyshire, Surrey and Devon. He also travelled in Germany, France and North Africa. He was a member of the Royal Society of British Artists when JW was President from 1886-88 and also exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1874-1903.
