Dated by a comparison of the writing and butterfly signature with other menus (see #06855).
2. Potage
The menu, written in French, comprised oyster soup, fried sole, mutton cutlets, oven-braised beef fillets, pheasants, grilled tomatoes, stewed pears, camembert cheese, paté, and coffee.
3. Galsworthy
Probably Frederick Thomas Galsworthy (1827-1917), surveyor and land agent [more], and Isabel Marion Galsworthy (1841-1903), née Watson, wife of F. T. Galsworthy [more].
4. Robinson
Lionel George Robinson, writer and editor.
5. Caird
Ellen Caird, friend of Mrs F. Leyland, possibly a sister of Sir James Caird.
